Striped Bass Fishing at the
Jersey Shore
Striped
Bass fishing begins in early Spring with the arrival of
herring and bunkers. We start the season off trolling and
then move into live lining herring, bunker, and eels. Then
chunking starts - day or night. Our best day aboard the
Promises Kept netted 177 Striped Bass in only 8 hours by
three very tried fisherman. What a day to remember! On
many days double landings were the norm, and triples and
quadruples were abundant. Several times we even had five
fish caught on one rig.
World class Striped Bass fishing at the Jersey Shore heats
up in October and runs through December. Don't miss
the action - prime dates are going fast so book
early to experience Striped Bass fishing at its
